The CO2 laser skin rejuvenation treatment is recommended for people who have skin that has been exposed to sunlight or tanning beds and is covered with pigment spots, solar lentigos, fine superficial wrinkles, or deeper folds. About DOT/RF therapy
The innovative DOT/RF therapy is a new procedure that combines fractionated CO2 laser and bipolar radiofrequency (RF) treatment.
The synergistic effect of CO2 laser and HiScan DOT/RF can selectively reach all skin layers, maximizing results, reducing recovery time and side effects.
The bipolar RF technology selectively heats the skin, complementing and enhancing the effects of CO2 laser treatment by treating the tissue deeply, toning flabbiness and stimulating fibroblasts to produce new collagen. The combined effect of CO2 and RF reduces post-treatment redness and recovery time.

Preparation for the treatment
Before the first treatment, we determine your suitability for treatment at the consultation, and take a diagnostic photo with the Visia device. Antiviral medication (oral) is mandatory for 1 week. Sun protection and avoidance of direct sunlight is recommended for 14 days prior to treatment.
The treatment
The parallel, narrow beam of the DEKA SmartXide CO2 laser makes tiny holes in the skin’s surface – barely visible to the eye – and then forms fine, vertical channels underneath, penetrating deep into the skin. Skin damage triggers our body’s own healing mechanisms, producing new cells and regenerating the treated tissue. As columns of new cells form where the tiny channels were, the skin is truly renewed. The heat from the laser not only contracts the existing collagen, causing an immediate skin tightening effect, but also triggers the formation of new collagen fibres, so the effect of the treatment is not only spectacular, but also long-lasting.
Ability to work, home care
After the treatment, you may experience redness and mild oedema around the eyes and mouth, which will disappear in 2-3 days. Avoiding the sun and using sunscreen thoroughly is recommended for 14 days.
Number of treatments
Even a single treatment can make a big difference, but repeated treatments can make the results more visible and long-lasting, and the skin’s sun protection can help prolong the results.
