Fine thread contour therapy (face, neck)
FTC and COG contouring is a nonsurgical procedure to rejuvenate, lift, and contour the skin. Regain the youthfulness of your complexion with the help of Medicover Aesthetica’s highly trained professionals, without surgery and without altering the natural contours of your face.
Who is the treatment recommended for?
Fine lines, crow’s feet and medium to deep grooves around the nose and mouth, as well as loose, saggy skin can be effectively and naturally tightened with fine thread contour therapy.
For what purposes can the treatment be used?
- Supporting the structure of the skin
- Correcting or preventing the sagging of the skin
Areas of application
Areas of the face and neck.
Preparation for the treatment
Before the first treatment, we determine your suitability for treatment at the consultation, and take a diagnostic photo with the Visia device. The procedure does not require any serious preliminary examinations, as the absorbable antimicrobial threads used for the treatment do not cause an allergic reaction. No home preparation is required for the treatment.
The safety of biothreads made from biocompatible materials (PDO or PLO) is proven by the fact that they have been used as surgical sutures for almost forty years. Placed in the SMAS layer of the skin, the threads remain in the skin for about six months, after which they are completely absorbed. In their place, a collagen fiber network is formed, which lifts and tightens the tissue.
Ability to work, home care
The treatment does not affect your daily routine, but redness and slight swelling at the puncture site may occur, which will heal in two to three days.
